Know Your Customer (KYC) Policy

ZERTH PAY is committed to maintaining the highest standards of compliance with applicable laws and regulations in Nigeria. This includes verifying the identity of our users to protect our platform from fraud, money laundering, and other financial crimes.

1. Purpose of KYC

Our KYC process ensures that we:

  • Verify the identity of our users before granting access to core financial services.
  • Prevent fraudulent, terrorist, or illegal activity on our platform.
  • Comply with the regulations of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), NDIC, and other financial bodies.

2. Who Must Comply?

All users — including individual customers, merchants, and agents — are required to complete the KYC process to access ZERTH PAY’s services. Different levels of verification may apply based on account type and transaction volume.

Once a user submits their KYC documents, we verify the details against government databases (such as NIMC and BVN portals). Users may receive an SMS/email prompt if additional verification is required.

5. Tiered Access Levels

  • Tier 1: Basic services with phone number verification only
